ABOUT STEM KIDSSTEM Kids was founded by Andrea and Susana — two passionate educators with over a decade each of experience working with children. We met while teaching preschool and quickly bonded over a shared frustration: long hours, limited pay, and being required to teach curriculum that didn’t reflect our values or the developmental needs of our students.So we decided to create something better.In 2023, we launched STEM Kids — a mobile, flexible enrichment program that brings hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math to children through birthday parties, community events, and school programs. Our activities are fun, engaging, and always evolving to reflect the world kids are growing up in. From classic experiments to tech-forward projects like beginner coding and digital circuits, we help students build real-world skills while having a blast.Our mission is rooted in equity and access. We prioritize serving children from underserved communities, students of color, and neurodiverse learners — because we believe STEM should be for every child.We’re also building long-term partnerships with schools, libraries, nonprofits, and local organizations like Logan’s Little Warriors to bring STEM learning where it’s needed most. And looking ahead, we envision growing into a full-scale community hub — with a garden, STEM classrooms, and a resource center that supports not just kids, but families and elders too.STEM is just the beginning. What we’re building is curiosity, confidence, and community.
